The flexibility of the Lynton Healthcare Chair lies in its complete adjustability to suit a variety of users needs without the need to stock or purchase different size seating.

This rise recliner puts the healthcare team, in ultimate control, providing a full range of options to tailor the chair precisely for everyone’s comfort and care.

With a choice of Dual or Single Tilt in Space motors the Lynton Healthcare Chair is suitable for clients with changing and deteriorating neurological conditions and those who require assisted movement to reduce the problems of skin breakdown.

It comes with a range of pressure management seat cushion options or allows for you to fit your own pressure cushion.

The interchangeable armrests allows for the width to be adjusted, and two adjustable seat depths.  The Lynton chair offers you the option to change the seat height, whilst also extending the legrest to achieve the support when reclined.

Mechanisms

The Lynton healthcare chair is available with either a Dual Tilt in Space (DTIS) or a Single Tilt in Space (STIS) mechanism. The Tilt in Space (TIS) movement allows the seat to back angle to remain the same whilst the whole seating system is tilted backwards which prevents shearing and friction.

The Dual Tilt in Space mechanism has more positional movement options than the STIS one as it also has independent backrest recline and independent leg rest movement. This enables a greater range of positions to aid pressure management, postural control and comfort.

There is also the option of VAL Technology on both these mechanisms, but only on the medium and large sized chairs.

Back Rest Cushioning

There is a choice of six interchangeable pressure management back cushions each with different features that enable the chair to be adapted to a single user's changing needs or to adapt the chair to another user. This ensures greater longevity of its usage.

In addition, all cushions can be repositioned to suit a user's individual seating preferences and fibres added or removed from fibre filled cushions to adjust firmness. Covers can also be removed for cleaning.
