The Bradshaw Bariatric beds are designed to cater safely for patients weighing up to 318kg (50st) in the community, nursing and residential care environments. Robust and sturdy electrically operated 4 section profiling care bed, designed specifically for plus size patients.

Electrically operated backrest, height and kneebreak. Auto contour function raises/lowers both the backrest and knee break simultaneously to promote comfort and minimise migration in the bed. Infinitely variable tilt positioning.

Low platform height for ease of use and falls prevention. The side rails provide additional safety with a two-stage unlocking mechanism which reduces the potential risk of accidental release. Attractive domestic appearance with high quality wooden head and footboards and full length integral wooden side rails

Carefree mattress

The Carefree Bariatric comprises of a foam insert to help provide pressure reduction and features a reinforced core, base and side wall offering support whilst assisting patients and their caregivers with transfers. The mattress provides comfort and protection for the larger patient weighing up to 318kg/ 50 stone. The bariatric mattress replacement is suitable for patients considered to be up to a high risk of pressure ulcer development and can be used in a community and long term care setting. The 2-way stretch, waterproof, vapour permeable PU cover, improves patient comfort and maintains skin integrity by reducing shear and friction forces whilst aiding infection control.

Acclaim VE mattress

The Acclaim VE mattress range is made from visco-elastic castellated foam with welded seams and integral block foam side formers for added stability during patient transfers in and out of the bed. Featuring a multi-stretch vapour permeable PU coated fabric cover. The mattress provides comfort and protection for the larger patient weighing up to 318kg/ 50 stone. U' foam construction of the side walls and base has been engineered to provide stability and to allow mattress to contour with a profiling mattress platform. The cover is PU multi-stretch, water resistant and vapour permeable with welded seams. Includes a 270° zip with protective flap. Top cover has a white inner substrate to assist in identifying signs of cover damage and strike-through. 2-way turn and X-ray translucent cover
