Moxie Gait Trainer, formerly Trekker Gait Trainer. Suitable for children who do not yet have the physical or cognitive skills to use a standard walker safely and independently. It can be used in an anterior or posterior position helping children to improve their general heart and lung fitness whilst encouraging them to take steps feeling safe and secure. Swivel castors can be locked to non-swivel and each are individually braked.
A directional lever can be used to prevent the walker moving backwards. The two larger models (medium and large) both fold easily for transportation and storage. Height adjustable in 25mm (1) increments. Variable resistance to control the speed of rotation of the wheels. Accessories can be mounted on the frame tool free therefore easily removed or added to suit individual users.
Medium and large versions fold easily for storage and travel.

Forearm Platforms - Height & depth adjustable for user comfort. Platforms can rotate, supinate and pronate. Thigh Prompts - Height adjustable to suit user. Can be positioned further from or closer to the user to limit adduction/abduction. Moves with user’s gait pattern allowing weight shifting from one leg to the other
Hip Positioner & Pad - Height adjustable seat harness positions hips and pelvis and allows the user to shift weight from one leg to the other. Straps can be shortened to assist with weight bearing or lengthened to use as a safety sling. The position of the straps on the handlebar will affect the user’s pelvis position.
Trunk Support - Secures the torso at desired angle. Height, depth, width and angle adjustable. Padded for cushioned comfort. Stays open for easy transfers. Can be mounted towards the inside or outside of handlebar. Straps adjust the fit, the forward leaning position and the angle of the user. In its lowest position, can be used as pelvic positioner. Adjustments can be made while user is in the gait trainer.
