Infection Control:

• The multi stretch PU cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and impregnated with Acti-fresh biocide to help prevent the build up of bacteria and ensure it can be easily cleaned to aid disinfection protocols
• High frequency welded seams and integral covered hoses reduce the risk of fluid ingress
• The entire mattress cell system and cover can be completely removed and laundered up to 80°C to aid decontamination protocols
• The simple tactile control panel can be easily wiped clean to ensure there is no harbouring of pathogens unlike traditional dials and switched

Alternating Pressure Area Care:

• Alternating pressure mode provides optimum pressure relief and comfort for patients who are considered to be at high risk of developing pressure ulcers
• The three static cells in the head section are designed to accommodate patients who suffer from motion sickness
• Once alternating mode is set, the power unit will automatically self regulate and adjust the internal cell pressure to suit the individual patient weight within the chosen morphology weight range

Static Pressure Area Care:

• The static side of the mattress features a visco-elastic foam surface, ideal for delivering exceptional patient comfort and a high degree of pressure reduction.
• The temperature sensitive foam conforms to the individual’s shape, creating a greater body contact area and effective pressure redistribution.

Ease of Use:

• Auto lock out function prevents any unauthorised setting changes to the pump unit
• Automatic shut off valves in the pump unit prevent the mattress from deflating during power failures allowing the mattress to retain static pressure for up to 24 hours
• Easy access and simple to use CPR tag allows rapid deflation of the mattress within 10 seconds to aid emergency procedures
• 20 minute timed static mode allows the carer enough time to position or prepare the patient on a firm support surface before automatically reverting back to alternating mode
