Rear-mounted attendant control bar designed to reposition your existing powerchair joystick controller for attendant operation.

The Reno Elite Powerchair Attendant Control Bar provides a practical solution for relocating the existing joystick controller from the armrest to the rear of the powerchair, allowing an attendant to operate the chair while walking behind it.

Specifically designed for the Reno Elite Standard and Reno Elite Captain Seat powerchairs, this accessory can also be suitable for other powerchairs fitted with a compatible rear mounting receiver tube.

The bar uses your existing joystick controller, so there is no need to purchase a separate controller when the original unit is compatible.

This attendant control bar is designed for use with:

• Reno Elite Standard Powerchair
• Reno Elite Captain Seat Powerchair
• Other compatible powerchairs fitted with a suitable rear mounting receiver tube

Additional compatibility: If your powerchair has a mobility scooter-style rear mounting receiver tube, this attendant bar may also be suitable, provided the mounting dimensions and controller attachment are compatible.

Step 1: Fit the attendant control bar to the compatible rear mounting receiver tube on your powerchair.

Step 2: Remove the existing joystick controller from the powerchair armrest.

Step 3: Secure the existing controller to the attendant bar, ensuring the controller and its cable are safely positioned.

Step 4: Check that the controller is securely fitted and that the powerchair operates correctly before use.

Fitting & Safety Advice

We recommend that the attendant bar and controller are fitted and checked by a suitably competent person or mobility engineer.

Ensure the controller cable has sufficient length, is correctly routed and cannot become trapped or interfere with the powerchair's moving components. Always test the controls and emergency stopping function before use.
