Uplivin Glide 2-in-1 Rollator & Transit Wheelchair
Two mobility solutions. One clever design. Greater everyday independence.
The Uplivin Glide 2-in-1 Rollator & Transit Wheelchair combines the freedom of a premium walking aid with the convenience of an attendant-propelled transit wheelchair, providing a versatile mobility solution for everyday life.
Recognised with a European Design Award in 2025, the Glide features an innovative, patented conversion mechanism that allows it to transform from a rollator into a transit wheelchair in less than one minute, without tools.
Whether you're enjoying a shopping trip, visiting family, exploring on holiday or simply heading out for the day, the Uplivin Glide adapts to your needs. Walk independently when you feel comfortable, then switch to wheelchair mode when you need a little extra assistance.
Weighing just 10.8kg, its lightweight aluminium frame, comfortable padded seating and folding design make the Glide a practical alternative to carrying both a rollator and a separate transit wheelchair.
Why Choose the Uplivin Glide?
The Uplivin Glide has been designed for people who enjoy walking independently but sometimes require assistance when travelling longer distances.
Unlike a conventional rollator, the Glide can quickly be converted into a transit wheelchair, allowing a companion or carer to push the user when walking becomes tiring.
This versatility makes it particularly useful for shopping centres, holidays, hospital appointments, days out and other situations where your mobility needs may change throughout the day.
Innovative 2-in-1 Mobility Design
Enjoy the convenience of two mobility aids in one. The Glide functions as a supportive four-wheeled rollator for independent walking and converts into an attendant-propelled transit wheelchair whenever additional assistance is needed.
Patented Quick Conversion System
The patented, tool-free conversion mechanism allows the Glide to change between rollator and wheelchair modes in less than one minute. The adjustable handle arrangement is designed for comfortable operation in both configurations.
Lightweight Aluminium Frame
Weighing just 10.8kg, the durable aluminium frame provides an excellent combination of strength, stability and portability, making the Glide easier to lift, manoeuvre and transport.
Comfortable Padded Seat
A generously padded seat provides a comfortable place to rest when using the Glide as a rollator and additional comfort when travelling as a passenger in transit wheelchair mode.
Ergonomic Adjustable Handles
Height-adjustable ergonomic handles help provide a comfortable grip for the person using the rollator and for the attendant when the Glide is configured as a transit wheelchair.
Smooth-Rolling Rubberised Wheels
Large rubberised wheels, including 30cm rear wheels, help provide a smoother and more comfortable journey across suitable everyday surfaces.
Lockable Hand Brakes
The integrated hand brakes provide controlled braking during use and can be locked when stationary, helping provide additional stability when taking a seated rest.
Compact Folding Design
The Glide folds to just 26.5cm wide, making it easier to store at home or transport in a suitable vehicle. Its practical folding design is particularly useful for holidays and days out.
Practical Storage Bag
An integrated storage bag with a 5kg carrying capacity provides convenient space for everyday essentials, shopping and personal belongings.
Walk When You Want. Ride When You Need.
One of the greatest benefits of the Uplivin Glide 2-in-1 is the flexibility it provides throughout the day.
You can enjoy the independence of walking with a rollator and, when you become tired, convert it into a transit wheelchair so a companion can assist you.
With no need to carry two separate mobility aids, the Glide offers a convenient and adaptable solution for everyday independence.
