The Luna Lite Wheelchair combines a lightweight aluminium frame with excellent durability, comfortable seating and a practical folding design. Available in both Transit and Self Propel versions, the Luna Lite is an excellent choice for regular everyday use as well as transportation and days out.
The Transit model weighs 11.3kg, while the Self Propel model weighs just 9.3kg. Both wheelchairs fold widthways and feature a folding backrest, detachable footrests and quick-release rear wheels, helping reduce their size for transportation and storage.
A particularly useful feature is the innovative flip-back armrest design. With a simple release of the retaining tab, each armrest can pivot backwards and out of the way, helping make transfers into and out of the wheelchair easier and more comfortable.

Quick-Release Rear Wheels
Quick-release rear wheels allow the wheels to be removed when required, further reducing the wheelchair's footprint for transportation and helping make the individual components easier to handle.
Flip-Back Armrests for Easier Transfers
With a simple release of the retaining tab, the front of each armrest unlocks and the armrest can pivot backwards and out of the way. This provides additional space and can make transferring into and out of the wheelchair easier and more comfortable.
Breathable & Comfortable Seating
Breathable nylon padding on the seat and backrest encourages airflow while providing comfortable support, making the Luna Lite suitable for regular and everyday use.
Cushioned Armrests
Firmly cushioned armrests provide additional support and comfort while seated, while retaining the convenient flip-back function when transferring.
Attendant Brakes
Shaped, textured push handles are positioned at a fixed height of 92cm. Responsive locking brakes on both handlebars provide the attendant with straightforward control of the wheelchair.
Adjustable Anti-Tippers
Both models are supplied with adjustable anti-tippers that can be installed prior to use, providing an additional safety measure to help reduce the risk of the wheelchair tipping backwards if it becomes unbalanced.
Choose Between Transit & Self Propel
The Luna Lite is available in two versions, allowing you to select the wheelchair that best suits how it will be used.
Transit Model: Designed primarily to be pushed by an attendant and fitted with smaller 33cm rear wheels. The Transit model has a glossy black frame and weighs 11.3kg.
Self Propel Model: Features larger 56cm rear wheels, allowing the wheelchair user to propel themselves when appropriate. Individual user hand brakes are fitted to the rear wheels. The Self Propel model has a matte black frame and weighs just 9.3kg.
