Designed with versatility in mind, the ICON 125 comes with two rear wheel size options: 24-inch wheels for users who self-propel and 16-inch wheels for those assisted by caregivers. The wheelchair’s wheelbase can be extended at the front by 5cm for seat widths of 41cm and 46cm, and by 10cm for a51 cm seat width.

Comfort is enhanced through ergonomic seat and back cushions that deliver lumbar and lateral support, as well as effective pressure relief to promote long-term sitting comfort. One key feature is its fully adjustable headrest, equipped with folding side wings for enhanced lateral head support.

The leg rests are designed with calf pads and can be swung away, detached, or lifted to facilitate transfers and positioning. Ease of use is also prioritized with height-adjustable push handles, making it more convenient for caregivers.

The laminated cushions provide strong postural alignment and help evenly distribute pressure, especially over bony areas, reducing the risk of skin breakdown. The backrest frame allows for angle, depth, and height adjustments, and easily supports accessories like oxygen platforms.

The head and neck support offers 11.5 cm of medial-lateral sliding along with height, depth, and angle adjustability to accommodate a wide range of needs. With the ICON Mobility System, users benefit from continuous seat depth adjustment, enabling optimal leg positioning and proper knee angles for the leg rests.

A range of accessories is available, including trays, belts, and side pads, allowing for even more customization.

Adjustable hip width is possible via armrests and side panel pads (only on the 16” wheel model).

Seating

Seat and back cushion are anatomically shaped with a multi density, laminated foam construction. The back provides good lateral and lumbar support. The seat provides pressure relief under the Ischial Tuberosity’s as well as extra support on the lateral and medial aspects of the thighs and posteriorly around the buttock margin. Both cushions can be fitted with a waterproof cover or a knitted, breathable cover.
